FORSTOCK BFCM INVENTORY COUNTDOWN PLANNER
==========================================

What to order, when to order it and how to ship it, so stock is on the
shelf before your Black Friday sale starts.

The guide this kit goes with, including the worked example:

WHAT IS IN THIS FOLDER
----------------------

1. Forstock_BFCM_Inventory_Planner.xlsx
The planner. Works on its own in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers.

2. forstock-bfcm-planner.skill
Optional. A skill for Claude that fills the planner in for you from
your Shopify exports and briefs you on the result.

USING THE SPREADSHEET
---------------------

1. Open it and start on the "Start" sheet.
2. On "Setup", check the dates. Black Friday, your on-shelf date and the
freight cutoffs all live there. If your supplier is not in China, or is
working through Golden Week, clear "Overseas factories closed until".
3. On "Plan", fill the yellow cells, one row per SKU. Rows 6 to 8 are
   examples: overwrite or clear them.
4. Read "Summary" and "Buy list". Use "Weekend" during the sale.

In Excel, click "Enable Editing" when the file opens. Calculated cells are
protected so a paste cannot overwrite them. To change a formula, use
Review > Unprotect Sheet. There is no password.

In Google Sheets: upload the file to Drive, then File > Save as Google
Sheets.

Transit times and multipliers are typical figures, not quotes. Replace
them with what your forwarder and your own numbers tell you.

USING THE CLAUDE SKILL
----------------------

1. In Claude, open Settings, then Capabilities. Skills need code execution
   turned on.
2. Under Skills, upload forstock-bfcm-planner.skill.
3. Start a chat and ask for a BFCM inventory plan. Attach your Shopify
exports when it asks: orders (Orders > Export), inventory (Products >
   Inventory > Export) and products.
4. Claude returns a filled copy of the planner and a short briefing: what
to order first, what is tight, and what can no longer be restocked.

The skill reads only the columns it needs from your exports. It does not
read customer names, emails or addresses.
